The Solara line has always been stupid to me, just like every coupe ve4rsion of a sedan they try to distance from the 4-door.

I’ve always maintained that it is basically always better to just make the coupe simply a 2-door version of the sedan

I knew an older guy who owned a Red Solora. And he thought it was such a hot car. Like he genuinely believed it was a sports car. Called it a little hot rod.

I had to refrain from laughing and telling him it was just a Camry.

My point is marketing works.

3rd gen Camry is best Camry and also the best car ever made :o)

And that coupe really was just a 2-door version of the sedan. That’s why it looks so awesome

My first car was a 92 Camry. I wanted a Manual Coupe so bad. And you know what, I’d gladly take one now. It was a nice car. Even tho I beat the crap out of mine, it was clearly a well built car.

It’s all cool dude. I know what I got  I do disagree with your assessment slightly as the Solara is actually a weird mix of Lexus ES330 and Camry. I mean it is a Camry but it also has significant differences functionally. Specifically the engine (for th e V6 model) and the suspension.
